Step1: Select and open a photo for editing

Snapseed’s interface is quite intuitive. When you open this app for the first time, it will ask you to open the image for editing.


For this, tap anywhere on its main screen.You can open any image in Google Drive or in your device.
Step 2: Straighten the photo

If you see this image unequal or if you want to rotate it above 90 degrees or right, tap on the rotate tool.
To do this, tap the pencil icon in the lower right corner. This will bring Snapseed’s Toolbox open.
Tap on the rotate tool.
Then swipe the slider above the screen to the left or right.


After changing, tap on the bottom tick icon to save.
Step 3: Crop Photo
If you want to remove some unwanted parts from your photos, you can use the crop tool.
Tap on the crop top.

You can crop the image by dragging the rectangle edge.
After changing, tap on the bottom tick icon to save.
Step 4: Selective Adjustment
With the Selective tool, you can adjust the brightness of the specific part of the image.
Tap on the Selective tool.
Then tap on the area where you want to manually adjust the brightness.
To adjust brightness, swipe the slider above the left or right.
After changing, tap on the bottom tick icon to save.
Step 5: Tune your image

Adjust brightness, contrast and saturation level of the next step image.
Tap on the Tune Image tool.


• Select Brightness, Ambiance, Contrast, Saturation, Shadows, and Warmth by tapping on the slider icon at the bottom of the image.
Swipe the slider left or right to change the value.
This is an ideal tool for improving the light distribution and improving the overall appeal of your photo.
After changing, tap on the bottom tick icon to save.

Apart from basic image editing tools in Snapseed, you can also apply various types of filter effects to the image.
You can give a variety of black-and-white effects to your image.
Tap on the Black-and-White tool.


• To adjust the value, swipe left or right on the slide above.
• With the Color Color Icon, you can give an effect of a piece of colored glass on the lens. This can give effect to black-and-white images until a color light is present.
• To save the cheeses, tap the tick icon.
Filter 2: Make an image of your old memories
Tap on Vintage Films Tool.
• Select Brightness, Saturation, Texture Strength, Center Size, and Style by tapping on the slider icon on the bottom.
• To adjust the value, swipe the slider above or right to the right.
Texture icons give different texture look to the image.
• Style can give the different style to the icon, in which each style has a color and light distribution.
• To save the cheeses, tap the tick icon.
Filter 3: Add Drama to Your Image
Tap on Drama Tool.

• Tap Filter Strength and Saturation by tapping on the slider icon below.
• Swipe left or right to adjust the value.
• Style can apply some Predefine style to the icon.
• To save the changes, tap the tick icon.
Filter 4: Make Your Image Fictional
Tap on the HDR Scape tool.
• Select the Filter Strength, Brightness, Saturation, and Smoothing from the Slide Icon.
• To adjust the value, swipe the slider above or right to the right.
Style can apply some predefined style to the icon.
• To save the cheeses, tap the tick icon.

Tap on the Lens Blur tool.


• Select from Blur Strength, Transition and Vignette Strength from the Slider’s icon below.
• To adjust the value, swipe the slider above or right to the right.
• Some preset from the Style icon can apply Blur Style.
• To save the cheeses, tap the tick icon.
Share your image:
You can share your image directly with Snapseed. You can share on social networks such as Google+, Twitter, and Facebook. Along with this, you can share your photos via e-mail or print from this app.
Tap on the download icon and select Share button.
You can also export this image.
